Imam's body recovered

Body of Imam of a mosque was found floating in a pond at Beridbil village in Goainghat upazila on Monday.
The victim was identified as Moynuddin, 4o, Imam of Beribil Mosque and son of late Gani Miah of Sandaura village in Companyganj upazila of the district.
Nandigaon union parishad Chairman Mamunur Rashid Shahin said locals found Moynuddin's body floating in the pond at about 8:00am and informed police.
Later, the law enforcers recovered the body at about 9:00am.
