BNP men attack motorcade of Ramesh

BNP activists attacked the motorcade of Water Resources Minister Ramesh Chandra Sen while returning after placing wreaths at the Martyrs' Memorial in the district yesterday.
Witnesses said around 11:50am when the BNP men halted the minister's motorcade, police forced them to leave the way to the memorial.
The BNP activists again attack the motorcade of the minister in front of the BNP office while Ramesh returning from the memorial. They vandalised the car of Sadar upazila chairman Sultanul Ferdous.
Toimur Rahman, district unit BNP general secretary, alleged that police damaged their wreaths and charged batons on the party men that injured at least ten party men.
But police refuted their allegation.
