Man takes his own life

A man allegedly committed suicide at a house in Modhubagh of the city's Moghbazar area yesterday.
The deceased is ASM Naim, 42, of Noakhali Sadar.
Ramna police recovered the body from the house of Naim's brother ASM Kamruzzaman at around 3:00pm. The body was hanging from a window grill with a quilt.
Kamruzzaman told the police that Naim borrowed several lakh taka from different persons at Noakhali Sadar and became mentally ill being unable to pay the debt.
He said Naim was brought to Dhaka some days ago for treatment.
