Adequate facilities at RU demanded

The Rajshahi University (RU) students demanded yesterday adequate facilities for the students with disabilities of the university to pave the way for their higher education.
They raised the demands in a human chain jointly organised by RU Rotacract Club and Bangladesh Systematic Changed Advocacy Network (BSCAN) at the university campus marking the International Disabled Day-2011.
Their demands included increasing admission seats, setting up lifts in the academic buildings, disabled-friendly toilets and ensuring scholarships for the challenged students of the university.
