'Observe Textbook Day on Jan 1'

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid yesterday at the launching ceremony of an international book exhibition called upon all to observe first January as 'Textbook Day'.
Dhaka University along with a private company of Singapore has jointly organised the weeklong exhibition at the Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) in the University.
Nahid said students would get textbooks within first January in next academic year.
Last year, about 64 crore textbooks reached to the students within first January, he added.
