Tk 1 cr smuggled goods seized

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members seized smuggled Indian goods worth over Tk one crore from different places in Joypurhat, Noagaon and Dinajpur districts on Saturday and Sunday. On secret information, BGB men launched separate drives and seized the goods from Joypurhat Sadar, Panchbibi upazila, Dhamirhat of Noagaon and border areas of Hakimpur upazila in Dinajpur district. The seized goods included cloths, cumin seed, cosmetics, imitation jewellery, sex stimulating tablets and drugs. But none was arrested in this connection.
