Narsingdi Mayor killing
Minister Raju's brother, 13 others accused
Drama over recording family's case with Narsingdi police; Khokon is not accused by the family
(November 4, 20110)
I appeal to the law enforcing agencies to find out the real killers.
Haque
Very sad. I have nothing to say about the killing. We have lost a good brother and good political leader.

This news is painful to us. We are praying for the peace of Lokman's soul and for a peaceful life of his family members.

The nation is not free at all. We are imprisoned by the political gangsters of the main parties. The nation will get freedom when both the parties will be removed forever.

Hatred for those who are involved in the mayor killing. Now the people know who are involved in the killing.

I see the cat is out of the bag. The family members say that Khokon is not responsible for the killing of the Mayor. How far the politics of lie will roll in Bangladesh?

The family members may not be able to file a case against the minister and his brother because they are part of the government. Even if a case can be filed, there will be no arrest, no trial and the matter will be forgotten.

Why fingers are being pointed towards the AL, the BCL and the BNP? We should punish those who are involved in the crime irrespective of their political affiliation.

I would like to say to the people of Bangladesh, do not look at this situation like powerless observers. You have the power to show these corrupt politicians that you will not accept this injustice. Take lessons from Egypt, Tunisia and Libya.

Have any one visited Narshingdi five years ago? If yes, then one will realize why Lokman was a two-time Gold medalist? This murder did not stop Lokman's life only, it also did stop the development of the municipality. I want fair justice.
Wahidul Islam
I am sorry that Mrs. Lokman Hossain may not get the justice for the murder of her husband. It is clear from the press reports and the statement of Lokman's family members that a minister and his brother are behind the murder. I am afraid that the police may not take her case.

Tears may roll down like a down one's cheek, but can it heal the wound in the heart? How is Mrs. Lokman going to live with her grief?
What will she tell her innocent daughter who wants to see her dear daddy? Let the brutality come to an end through the punishment of the killer. Let there be justice. Let people hope for a safe world.
Najmul Huda
Politicians of our country think that life of a person is like a toy which can be broken for their own interest. It is demand of all times that the killers are caught and are given exemplary punishment without considering the killers' political connections. Real democracy is yet to be established in the country. So the government should establish the environment for democracy.
