Six Bangladeshis held at Kashmir border
Indian Border Security Force (BSF) yesterday arrested six Bangladeshis and foiled their infiltration bid along the Indo-Pakistan border at Jammu and Kashmir state in India.
During patrolling, BSF troops noticed a group of people heading towards Pakistan near the Jabowal Border Out Post (BOP) in Arnia belt in the wee hours, a BSF officer said.
Troops caught the six of them, all hailing from Bangladesh, he said.
One person belonging to the Indian state of Orissa was also held when he was trying to cross over to Pakistan via Nikowal BOP in the afternoon, the officer said.
All of them had been handed over to police for further action, he added.
