Two siblings drown

Two siblings drowned in a pond at Shreepur village under Shahjadpur upazila of the district on Saturday evening.
The deceased were identified as Antora, 7, and Anjona, 5, daughters of Fazlu Mia of the same village.
Locals said, on Saturday evening, the two siblings 'went missing' while they were playing beside a ditch near their house at Shreepur village.
After a long search, neighbours found their bodies floating in the roadside ditch yesterday afternoon and informed the police.
