Bangladeshi laptop Doel

On 11th October 2011, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina formally inaugurated the locally made laptop named after the national bird Doel. These laptops will be available at a very low price for students and general people with a view to establishing Digital Bangladesh.
Bangladesh Telephone Shilpa Shangstha (TESIS) declared that they would provide Doel at a minimum price of Tk. 10,000/-. This is really good news for us. I congratulate the government on taking this timely step towards digitalisation of the country.
