Book fair on poet Shamsur Rahman

On the occasion of the 82nd birth anniversary of poet Shamsur Rahman, Boi Bandhu Shangho will organise a festival at the premises of Central Public Library, Shahbagh in Dhaka. The festival will feature a weeklong book fair and poetry recitation. Poet Syed Shamsul Haq will inaugurate the festival today.
State Minister for Information and Communication Technology, Yafes Osman will be present as chief guest. Noted poets Nurul Huda, Ashim Saha; rhymesters Alam Talukdar and Aslam Sani will address the audience.
Noted elocutionists Syed Hasan Imam, Laila Afroz, Jayanto Chattopadhyay, Dalia Ahmed, Rabi Sankar Moitri, Kazi Abu Zafar Siddiqui, Bhaswar Bandopadhyay, Keya Chowdhury and others will recite poems on Shamsur Rahman at the festival.
