1 killed in Gopalganj clash

A man was killed and 10 others were injured in a clash between two rival groups at Bhardashur village in Moksedpur upazila yesterday morning.
The deceased was identified as Iyaar Ali Dewan, 50, of the village.
Locals said Iyaar Ali Dewan and his supporters engaged in an altercation with his cousin Ahad Ali Dewan and his followers over a trifling matter.
A clash ensued and at one stage Iyaar Ali was hit with a bamboo stick by his rivals causing his instant death.
