NTV receives ISO certificate

NTV (International Television Channel Ltd), a private satellite television channel, has achieved an ISO 9001-2008 certificate for its “outstanding contribution” to the broadcast management system.
For the first time, the recognition has been awarded to any television channel in Bangladesh, NTV said in a statement yesterday.
Mike Bloise, lead auditor of Orion Registrar Inc, USA, handed over the certificate to NTV Chairman and Managing Director Mosaddek Ali at a ceremony at the channel's office in Dhaka yesterday.
ISO, the world's most established quality framework, sets standards not only for quality management systems, but management systems in general.
