Join anti-govt protest

BNP acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir held a meeting with the leaders of Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh (BDB) at BDB president's Baridhara residence in the city yesterday and discussed the opposition's upcoming anti-government movement.
Alamgir urged BDB leaders to join them in the coming movement to be announced by the BNP chairperson after the Eid.
BDB Joint Secretary General Mahi B Chowdhury and presidium member Nurul Amin Bepari led their party.
“BDB offered us some proposals regarding the unity which would be discussed in our party forum to finalise the decision,” Alamgir told reporters after the meeting.
Mahi B Chowdhury said his party will go for movement to compel the government to restore caretaker government system.
