5 bomb blasts in Gangni in four days

Villagers in Gangni upazila under Meherpur district are worried as at least five bombs were blasted in the areas in four days from Tuesday to Friday. Three other bombs were recovered.
Two people were arrested in connection with the blasts.
On Tuesday, robbers stormed into the house of a jeweler, Mongol Mia, in Stadiumpara area of the upazila town at about 8:30pm.
The robbers threw two bombs when people of the area chased them leaving one person injured.
On the same day, criminals threw two bombs targeting Mukul Hossain, a businessman of Saharbati area at about 10:30pm when he came out of mosque after Tarabi prayers.
On Wednesday, extortionists blasted two bombs in Bamundi bazar area at about 11:30pm, demanding toll from traders.
