Seven robbers, three associates of Dakat Sahid arrested

Detectives arrested seven suspected robbers from Kafrul and three alleged associates of fugitive criminal Dakat Sahid from Dholaikhal in seperate drives in the city yesterday.
Sharp weapons and 200 grammes of gunpowder were seized from the robbers while three foreign-made revolvers and seven rounds bullets were seized from Shahid's associates.
The suspected robbers are Sarder Algir Hossain, Kabir Hossain alias Sabuj, Sakhaoat Hossain alias Rajib, Billal Hossain, Anwar Hossain, Bakul Mia, and Pintu Sikder.
Shahid's associates are Erfan Ali alias Erfan, Uttam Rajbangshi and Shahin alias Shahbuddin alias Mamma Shahin alias Jamai Shahin.
DB officials said they held the robbers near Krishi Bank Staff Training Centre around 1:30am where they were preparing to rob a filling station in Keraniganj area.
