Expat hacked to death in Sylhet

A Saudi expatriate, who was hacked by criminals Thursday evening in Majortila area on Sylhet-Tamabil highway in Sadar upazila, died at Osmani Medical College and Hospital at night.
The deceased was identified as Delwar Hossain Dilal, 30, son of late Ana Miah of Majortila Islampur area.
Family sources said, Dilal returned home from Saudi Arabia two months ago to get married.
Police said, criminals chopped Dilal indiscriminately in the area, leaving him critically injured. Local people rescued and admitted him to Osmani Medical College and Hospital at about 10:30pm and informed his family members.
The victim succumbed to his injuries at the hospital at midnight. The reason behind the murder could not be known immediately.
