Indonesia arranging inat'l agri training
Indonesia is organising two programmes on agricultural development in the developing countries.
International Training on Post Harvest Technology on Fruits and Vegetables is being held for Asia Pacific countries while an Apprenticeship Programme for Comorian Farmers in Indonesia for the Union of Comoros in eastern Africa.
The two events are being respectively conducted in Lembang, West Java, from 7-21 April and in Jakarta, Yogyakarta and West Java from April 3 to May 27, said a press release of Indonesian embassy in Dhaka.
Directorate of Technical Cooperation, Directorate General of Information and Public Diplomacy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, in cooperation with its Agriculture Ministry, is organising the events.
The Director General for America and Europe Affairs Retno Marsudi said the two events are the commitment of Indonesia to assist other developing countries particularly in agriculture sector.
