Ershad asks govt to punish culprits

Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad yesterday urged the government to give exemplary punishment to the culprits who are responsible for share market debacle.
“There is no scope to spare the influentials who are involved in the share market debacle. The government will be loser then,” he said in a statement.
He termed the statement of the finance minister not to publish the names of the influentials as 'regretful'.
“I am surprised by the statement of the finance minister. I can't understand why these names would not be published by the government,” he said.
