Victory Day celebrated in Brunei

Bangladesh High Commission in Brunei Darussalam on Thursday celebrated the 40th Victory Day in a befitting manner, according to a press release received here yesterday.
Bangladeshis in Brunei paid tribute to the three million martyrs who sacrificed lives for the long-cherished independence of their homeland.
The High Commission chalked out an elaborate programme to observe the occasion with a good number of Bangladeshis gathering on the Embassy premises.
The celebration began with the hoisting of the national flag of Bangladesh on the Chancery premises by High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Brunei M Shameem Ahsan.
