Train-hit college student dies in city

A college student was killed yesterday as a train hit him at Kuril Biswa Road area in the city.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Belal, 20, a first year student of Mirpur Bangla College in the city.
Belal's relative Mohammad Jubayer said he did not know why Belal was in that area after end of his classes.
Police said locals rushed Belal to Combined Military Hospital in the city.
Assistant Sub Inspector Amir Hossain of Kamalapur Government Railway Police Station said Belal was later shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
