Police yesterday arrested two criminals along with a pistol and four bullets at Chotoachra intersection under Benapole Police Station. The arrestees are Monjurul Hassan Jewel, son of Idris Ali of Talikhola village, and Kamal Hossain, son of Abdus Salam of Arabpur village of Jessore district. On receiving information that two criminals were waiting at Chotoachra intersection to kill one Ayub Ali, a businessman of Baropota village, police raided the area and arrested Jewel and Kamal. The law enforcers also recovered one 9mm pistol, four bullets and a motorbike from their possession. A case was lodged against the two with Benapole Police Station.
