Religious discrimination

With the annulment of 5th and 7th amendment of the Constitution we have virtually gone back to the original Constitution of 1972, which was formulated on four fundamental principles including secularism. The spirit of the War of Liberation was to create a just and non-communal state in the world map as we had experienced a lot of state-designed communal riots and unrest in the then East Pakistan. The Pakistani authorities, with bad intensions, unleashed that communal hatred.
Article 28 of the Constitution of Bangladesh says, 'The state shall not discriminate against any citizen on grounds only of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth'. Article 27 says, 'All citizens are equal before law and are entitled to equal protection of law'. Article 11 of the Constitution also ensured democracy and human rights. The present government also values this spirit. Following the government instructions, all the public universities remained off for minimum a week during Durga Puja festival. But a few private universities are possibly living in other world as they allowed only one day holiday for the students and teachers on Bijoya Dashami (17 October), the last day of the four-day festival.
Is it practically possible for the Hindu students and staff to come back the next morning to join the class/duty after Bijoya Dashami?
