Bangladeshi shot dead by BSF

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) shot a Bangladeshi citizen dead in Kalmakanda upazila of Netrakona yesterday.
The deceased was identified as Jashimuddin, 37, son of late Hafijuddin of Sannyasipara in the upazila.
Anisur Rahaman Khan Pathan, upazila parishad chairman of Rangchati, said BSF shot Jashim near Boruakona border in Rangchati while he was working in his paddy field around 8:00am.
Khan Humayun Kabir, officer-in-charge of Kalmakanda Police Station, said police recovered the victim's body from a paddy field on information.
No case was filed in this connection till filing of this report.
