Probe body on Ruet fire incident

The authorities of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (Ruet) yesterday formed a five-member committee to probe the fire incident at the university's central auditorium on October 8.
The committee, headed by electrical and electronics engineering department chairman Dr Yakub Hossain, has been asked to submit its report within a very short time.
Four other members of the committee are students' welfare adviser Prof Asraful Alam, acting chief engineer Rashidul Hossain, acting comptroller Nazim Uddin Ahmed and acting security officer Yasin Ali.
