Kamal made head of ICC audit committee
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Mustafa Kamal has been nominated by the International Cricket Council (ICC) board to become the chairman of the ICC's audit committee.
This is the first time that a representative from the BCB in the ICC and the IDI has been chosen for this prestigious position, said a BCB press release.
The role of the audit committee is to review the ICC's financial reporting process, the system of internal control and management of financial risks, the audit process and ICC's process for monitoring compliance with laws and regulations and its own code of ethics.
Mustafa Kamal is also the president of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC).
