Qirat, Azan contest held

The prize distribution ceremony of Bangladesh Army Qirat and Azan competition-2010 was held at the Army Central Mosque of Dhaka Cantonment yesterday.
Army Signal Brigade Dhaka team became champion while Bogra team became runners-up, said an ISPR release.
In Qirat competition, Corporal Humayun Kabir of 6 Independent Artillery Brigade Mirpur team got the first prize while UP Lance Corporal Abdul Mannan of Army Signal Brigade Dhaka team got first prize in Azan competition.
Meanwhile, in Qirat and Azan competition, UP Lance Corporal Abdul Mannan and UP Lance Corporal Ali Akber of Army Signal Brigade Dhaka team got the second prize respectively.
