RU students accord reception to Musa Ibrahim

Newspaper Readers' Association, an organisation of Rajshahi University (RU) students, recorded a reception to Musa Ibrahim, the first Bangladeshi Everest conqueror, yesterday.
Vice Chancellor Prof Abdus Sobhan presided over the reception ceremony at the university's Kazi Nazrul Islam auditorium.
Musa, who scaled Mount Everest on May 23, shared his experience to an audience of over one thousand students, teachers and employees.
He also urged the university authorities to set up an artificial climbing wall at the university gymnasium to encourage students in climbing.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Abdus Sobhan called on the students to take a lesson from Musa, who became successful in his mission with his fierce determination.
Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Muhammad Nurullah and President of RU Teachers' Association Prof Azizul Islam attended the reception as special guests.
