Sabrina retains another event
Sabrina Sultana retained supremacy in the women's 50m rifle three position when she bagged the gold in the 24th National Shooting Championship at the National Shooting Complex in Gulshan yesterday.
Sabrina scored 565 to secure her third gold medal in the event after her success in the 50m prone and 10m air rifles.
Sharmin Shilpa followed her with 556 to secure the silver while Tripti Datta bagged the bronze with a score of 549 points.
In the women's 10m air pistol, Armin Asha became new champion with a score of 457.2 while Ardina Ferdous finished second for silver with 449.2 and Anamika Haque Mukta managed bronze with 448.7.
Muksedur Rahman retained gold in the men's 25m pistol scoring 511 while Selim Azad bagged silver with 486 and Nadimul Islam secured bronze with 484.
Today is the last day of the competition and three events -- skeet final, men's 50m three position and men's 10m air pistol -- will be finalised on the concluding day.
