Two shot in city
Criminals yesterday made a gun attack on a trader in Gulshan but ended up with injuring two bystanders in the process.
The injured, Mohammad Solaiman, 30, an employee of Banglalink, and Rony, 9, son of a security guard of T&T Colony, were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
DMCH sources said Solaiman received three bullets in his chest, left hand and leg while the boy one bullet in his cheek.
Solaiman's brother Shah Alam said Solaiman and the boy sustained injuries when two criminals on a motorbike fired indiscriminately on trader Mosharraf, who control a market at Korail, around 2:30pm.
Deputy Commissioner AKM Hafiz Akhter said the gun attack was made following a feud over the control of the area.
Gulshan police said Mosharraf was the target but the people were wounded in indiscriminate firing.
