Woman commits suicide

A housewife, who took poison on Thursday night at Lakhakati village under Sadar upazila, died at hospital Friday morning. The deceased was identified as Laizu Begum, 20, wife of Bachchu Shiekh of the village. Police quoted family sources as saying that Laizu took insecticides following a quarrel with her husband on Thursday night. She was rushed to Sadar Hospital where she died at 10:00am on Friday.
