Ansar move into final

Ansar & VDP have moved into the final of the Women's Club Cup Tournament after beating BKSP by 48 runs in the first semifinal at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium yesterday.
Batting first, Ansar & VDP scored 229 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their allotted 40 overs. Chamely Khatun topscored with 67 while Lota Mondol scored 54. Tanzida Islam took three for 33.
In reply, BKSP were all out for 181 in 39.5 overs. Nuzhat Tasnia was the highest scorer for BKSP with 34 runs. Chamely Khatun was named man-of-the-match.
The second semifinal Between Mohammedan and Abahani takes place today at the at Gulshan Youth Club Ground.
