'Resist cultural aggression'

BNP joint secretary general Mahbubuddin Khokon yesterday called on all like-minded cultural organisations to be united to resist cultural aggression of different countries.
Terming such aggression a major threat to Bangladeshi culture, he said some foreign countries, especially a neighbouring country, are trying to inject their culture into Bangladesh through different ways and it is damaging Bangladeshi culture day by day.
The BNP leader made the remarks while addressing a discussion on 'National unity to resist cultural aggression' organised by the Bangladesh Nationalist Cultural Foundation at the National Press Club.
