Student politics
The British East India Company left the sub-continent in 1947. Their goal was to loot and plunder the resources of the country. From the activities of the politicians, it can very well be said that the Frankenstein of the British East India Company still lives on among them.
The government officials are not even safe with the politicians. A high government official as reported in your daily sustained serious injuries while trying to prevent the BCL activists, the student wing of the party in power, from constructing an illegal structure on government land. He could have very well succumbed to his injuries, the way he has been manhandled. I have an uncanny feeling that the culprits shall go Scott free because of their affiliation with the party in power.
If these sinister activities are not brought to a halt, then the government officials shall never be encouraged to render their services judiciously to the nation, for which they are paid from the government exchequer. In the weeks gone by, some university going students were tragically killed by vested quarters. This is absolutely unhealthy and unbecoming of a student. In a bid to stop all these savagery, the government without any further delay should enact laws banning student politics all over the country and make the students do what they ought to. The educational institutions are meant to educate people and turn them into good human-beings, unfortunately they are becoming monsters, and this has to stop for the good of the nation.
