Rab man traceless for 10 months

Family members of Rapid Action Battalion-3 constable Nurun Nabi, who is missing for over 10 months, yesterday accused his bosses of killing him.
They made the allegation at a press conference held at Dhaka Reporters Unity in the capital. They told reporters that he went missing from Rab headquarters barrack on April 30.
His wife Yesmin Akhter told reporters that company commanding officer, warrant officer and a sergeant of Rab-3 kidnapped him and killed him as he had enmity with them.
She claimed that Nurun used to pray regularly and they did not like it. With this the enmity began, she claimed.
However, she said Nurun called her on May 3 and told her that he was in great danger. That was the last call he made to her.
Rab-3 Captain Shariat Ullah told The Daily Star Nurun Nabi was mentally ill and he is missing since he was transferred to Rab headquarters on April 30.
