Three arrested in snatching

Police yesterday arrested three people, including a woman, in connection with the snatching of Tk 69 lakh after injuring three Tharmex Group employees on Thursday in Narsingdi.
The arrestees are driver Shaheen, 33, Sohrab, 26, Saiful, 23 and Pakhi Begum, 40, from Shibpur. Police recovered a private car from their possession from a house in the Town Hall area in Narsingdi town.
Officer-in-charge (OC) Mujibur Rahman of Shibpur Police Station said they also recovered Tk 50,000 from the possession of Pakhi.
The armed muggers shot three Tharmex Group employees and made off with Tk 69 lakh at Itakhula of Shibpur in Narsingdi on Thursday.
