2 Hijbut Tahrir activists held with leaflets

Two suspected activists of Hijbut Tahrir were arrested from the main gate of the city's Ambarkhana mosque while they were distributing leaflets after Juma prayers yesterday.
Local people caught Farhad Shafi Chowdhury and Mahfuzur Rahman, who are also students of Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST), and handed over them to Kotwali police.
Police said they were distributing leaflets with messages calling for establishing a 'khilafat state'.
Farhad is a first year student of industrial engineering department and Mahfuzur Rahman is also a first year student of petroleum engineering department.
