Low over northwest Bay

The low over the northwest Bay and adjoining west central Bay is persisting, said a Met Office bulletin yesterday evening.
“Under its influence deep convection is taking place over the North Bay and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh. Squally weather may affect the maritime ports," it said.
The Chittagong, Cox's Bazar and Mongla seaports have been advised to keep hoisted local cautionary signal number three.
All fishing boats and trawlers over the north Bay have been advised to remain close to the coast and proceed with caution until further notice.
