A middle aged man was killed yesterday by his son during a family feud in Dhawa village under Bhandaria upazila of Pirojpur district. Matiur Rahman, officer in-charge of Bhandaria police station, said when Mohsin, 42, was beating his wife Kohinur Begum, their son Kabir,20, became agitated and hit in the head of his father with a stick to save his mother. Mohsin was rushed to Bhandaria Upazila Health Complex where the doctors declared him dead. Police sent the body to Pirojpur morgue for autopsy. No case was lodged till filing of this report in the evening.
