One crushed under train's wheels in Tongi

An unidentified person was killed as a speeding train knocked him down at Modhumita rail gate in Tongi yesterday afternoon.
Police and witnesses said Dhaka-bound "Joyantika Express" train from Sylhet hit the man aged about 35 when he was crossing the rail track about 3:30pm, killing him on the spot.
On information railway police recovered his body and sent it to hospital morgue for autopsy.
