AL adviser Tofail hospitalised after falling over on ferry

Member of the Advisory Council of Awami League Tofail Ahmed suffered injuries as he fell over on the ferry while returning to Dhaka from his election constituency Bhola yesterday, an official handout said.
Deputy Leader of the Jatiya Sangsad and Acting President of Bangladesh Awami League Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury visited injured Tofail, also a former minister, at Square Hospital in the city yesterday.
Sajeda Chowdhury spent some time beside the injured AL leader and enquired about his condition. She also wished his early recovery.
Health Minister Dr AFM Ruhul Haque and State Minister for LGRD and Cooperatives Jahangir Kabir Nanak were present on the occasion.
