Insulin injection pen wins good design award
SoloSTAR®, a disposable insulin injection pen for people with diabetes has received the prestigious 2007 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, says a press release.
Insulin named Lantus® and Apidra® are given by the pen SoloSTAR®. It has been created in cooperation with Sanofi-Aventis, one of the leading healthcare companies in diabetes care.
The device is easy to use and specially designed to facilitate extremely high volume. The authority has mentioned that the product has accurate and evidence-based design and it is the result of four years of intensive development.
