Four brothers, aged one to eight, died in a fire at the home of their 16-member family in the north-central Dutch town of Kampen overnight, the municipality said yesterday.
The fire, which broke out at about 2.30 am from causes yet unknown, appeared to have killed the boys aged one, four, six and eight, in their sleep, spokesman Bertil van Kolthoorn said. "They were all found in bed."
