Dr Niaz Ahmed Khan, a teacher of development studies at Dhaka University, joined the leading global environmental agency International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) as its country representatives in Bangladesh on August 16, says a press release.
Niaz studied at Universities of Wales, Lampeter and Oxford. Earlier, he worked as senior program coordinator, CHTDF, UNDP-Bangladesh, professor of Public Administration at Chittagong University, senior South Asian fellow at Queen Elizabeth House, Oxford, and Asia Fellow, AIT, Bangkok.
He has substantial teaching, training, research and consulting experiences in Bangladesh, Thailand and UK.
