Annual council of Bangladesh Scouts held

The 38th annual general council of Bangladesh Scouts held at Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the city yesterday, says a press release.
Shafiul Alam, secretary to the president, read out the written speech of President Zillur Rahman at the council.
Manzur ul Karim, adviser to Bangladesh Scouts, inaugurated the council. Md Abul Kalam Azad, chief national commissioner of Bangladesh Scouts, gave the welcome address while Md Momtajul Islam, president of Bangladesh Scouts, presided over the function.
The name of recipients of Silver Tiger and Silver Hilsha, the highest and second highest award of Bangladesh Scouts, were declared at the programme.
