Back in 1994, in the township of Chasara, Narayanganj, four young individuals initiated Rang; the rest as we know it is part of Bangladeshi fashion history. Shortly afterwards, two of the founding partners moved abroad and the banner was upon Biplob Saha and Shoumik Das to carry forward.
After a glorious journey spanning over two decades Saha and Das have decided to part their ways; the franchise “Rang” has now been split into two – “Rang Bangladesh” and “Bishwo Rang.”
Located in different parts of Dhaka and also the country, the fashion house will serve its loyal clienteles from stores at Shimanto Square in Dhaka, Jamuna Future Park, Narayanganj DIT market, Brahmanbaria and all “Deshi Dosh” outlets. Apart from these new outlets they have been inaugurated stores at Baily Road and Mohammadpur.
Collectively known as “Rang Bangladesh”, the franchise has three other sub brands – “West Rang,” “Shroddhanjali” and “Amar Bangladesh.”
Irrespective of the split, the mother brand “Rang Bangladesh” will continue the legacy of the past 21 years. Through this rebranding the stores will bring colours to the lives of its loyal clients as it has been doing.
Similarly, “West Rang” will continue with their efforts to bringing fashion products to the youth. Shroddhanjali is another sub brand especially designed for catering to the fashion needs of senior citizens.
