Ensuring menstrual hygiene
Social stigma and prejudices surrounding menstrual health and hygiene work as a barrier to accessing affordable menstrual hygiene tools, safe and private toilets, adequate water and sanitation, etc. We are successfully breaking the "period" stigma to make this natural phenomenon acceptable in society. Now, we need to work more on decreasing "period poverty". This can be done, among other measures, by imposing legal bindings on local authorities to ensure free provision of period products for anyone who needs them. It's important to acknowledge that menstruation is a natural phenomenon. This acknowledgement must inform all our policies in this regard.
