Lawyer jailed by Magura court for misbehavior

A court here on Tuesday sentenced a lawyer to two month's imprisonment for misbehaving with a magistrate.

The convict was identified as Advocate Syed Firozur Rahman.

The court sources said, Advocate Syed Firozur Rahman misbehaved with magistrate Selina Khatun during a case proceeding at the executive magistrate's court at noon.

Later, the magistrate took the offence into cognizance and handed down the verdict against Syed Firozur Rahman.

But the lawyer managed to flee the court before passing the order.
