Justice Debesh Bhattacharya and Former MP Chitra Bhattacharya Foundation will hold religious and social events in Ellenga, Tangail today marking the birth centenary of eminent jurist and human rights leader Justice Debesh Bhattacharya.
A memorial meeting will also be organised with eminent dignitaries to discuss his work and life. Born on this day in 1914, Justice Debesh was a member of Gono Adalat (People's Court), set up to try war criminals of 1971, says a press release.
