Two more die of dengue

At least two dengue patients died while 253 were hospi-talised in the last 24 hours till yesterday morning.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), the total number of deaths rose to 260 while the total number of cases stood at 59,449.

Among the death cases, 160 are in Dhaka, 25 in Cox's Bazar, 34 in Chattogram, 11 in Barishal, eight in Khulna, six in Mymensingh, five in Rajshahi, two in Narail and one each in Narsingdi, kushtia, Pabna, Bagerhat, Khagrachari, Bogura, Madaripur and Feni, said DGHS.

A total of 58,018 patients have already been released from hospitals while 1,171 are still undergoing treatment.
